Auditorium Rental - Shalom Manor and Shalom Gardens features a large multi-functional all purpose room used for many large functions including picnics, sing-songs, concerts and church services. This space seats up to 280 people and is available to the public on a rental basis. Please check with reception for availability and prices and refer to our Room Rental/Usage Guidelines.
Use of Activity Rooms - Families may also use the activity room in each of the Shalom Manor home areas but bookings must be made with reception to ensure that the room is available and not needed for a residential activity. Each activity room can hold up to 12 people comfortably with the exception of Mapleview which can hold up to 24 people. There is no fee for the resident/family use of the activity rooms but please do refer to our Room Rental/Usage Guidelines.
Guest Meals - Loved ones are invited to share a meal with their loved one(s) at Shalom Manor and Shalom Gardens. However, requests must be made within 24-hours (on Fridays for the weekend and Monday) at the front reception desk. There is a maximum of two guests per home area and there is a small cost ($7.50/guest).
Catering for Resident Birthdays, Anniversaries and Family Gatherings - You are able to order cake to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries of residents at Shalom Manor & Shalom Gardens. There is a small fee to cover the costs of the cake and staff time associated. For more information contact the reception desk. You are also able to order coffee, tea and punch - again, please contact the reception desk for information.
