Today we received the negative results back for Terraceview that we were waiting for, meaning all Home Areas are now out of isolation!
Public Health has not officially declared our outbreak over yet (usually this happens 14 days from the last case), but there is no impact to the residents at this point.
All residents will continue to be monitored closely for symptoms, and we will isolate and swab residents who display one or more symptom.
Staff will continue to wear full PPE to prevent further isolation of residents, and protect our workforce.
As a reminder, in accordance with the Ministry of Long term Care, general visits and leaves of absences for Shalom Manor are suspended.
EFC’s can still continue to visit (up to 2 at a time).
