Blooms of Honour

Honouring our parents is a lifelong calling – one rooted in love, gratitude and faith.

From Mother’s Day to Father’s Day, we invite you to take part in our Blooms of Honour; a new campaign dedicated to bringing comfort and life enriching care to our seniors.

Your gifts will support places where residents can experience the restorative fresh air, connect with loved ones and find renewal in both communityand creation. You can choose to direct your gift to the expansion of Shalom Grimsby’s courtyard or to Faithstone Hamilton’s south courtyard.

Just as a tulip returns year after year, the love of a (grand)parent provides a lasting foundation for our lives. This spring we invite you to honour your parents, oma,, opa, grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle or other loved one(s).

As a symbol of honour, the name of your loved one can be written on our tulips to honour the gifts received. These tulips will adorn the glass windows and other places to form our Garden of Honour during this special season of giving.

Ways to Give Blooms

All gifts received will be cherished by our honourees!
$100 gift or $10 per month – recognizes yoru loved one with a personalized honourary tulip
$250 gift or $20/month – the above plus a tulip bulb planted next season
$500+ the above and if wished a digital bloom story highlight on social media featuring a photo of your loved one
