Dear Lakeview Families,
Today public health has declared a confirmed respiratory outbreak on Lakeview.
The following measures are in place.
Visiting
• Visiting may continue as per usual protocols, residents in isolation will receive visitors in their room.
• If you need to visit multiple home areas during your visit please visit Lakeview last. Please refrain from visiting Sunrise and Lakeview in the same visit as Sunrise is also in outbreak.
Multi-home area programs and visiting
• All residents of Lakeview are not to mingle with residents from other home areas and will not attend multi-home area programs.
Leaves of Absences (LOA):
• Residents who are not in isolation may continue to go on an LOA for any reason, please have your loved one wear a mask until they get outside.
• Residents in isolation may go on an LOA for medical or compassionate purposes, if your loved one is requiring this please discuss with me so a plan can be put in place for this to happen safely.
Masking/PPE
• If visiting a resident in isolation PPE is required, please follow the signage on the door. For all other visitors a surgical mask is recommended but not required.
