The admission of residents to Shalom Manor is coordinated by Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS),  formerly called the Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) located in most communities. The HCCSS makes the final decision about the admission of applicants and is based on a priority and needs list. Grimsby is in the Hamilton, Niagara, Haldimand, Brant LHIN.  Shalom Manor – Long Term, care offers 24-hour nursing and medical support with two room types: basic, and private.

Shalom Manor is unique in that we are a Christian long-term-care home with firm roots tied to the Dutch community, the Christian Reformed Church, and other Reformed Christian denominations. It is this community we serve primarily.
