Dear Sunrise Court families,
Unfortunately the COVID-19 outbreak has spread over the weekend and 15 residents are now positive or symptomatic for COVID-19.
As a result, visits will be further restricted and only one essential family caregiver (EFC) is permitted per resident at a time. Please follow the signage on the door and wear the necessary PPE.
This means that general visits are suspended.
Non-essential leaves of absences remain suspended, and Sunrise Court residents are unable to mingle with residents from other home areas or the Gardens.
As a reminder, each resident can have up to 4 EFC’s on the list, and POA’s can add someone to the list by contacting reception during business hours (reception@shalommanor.ca /ext. 1100).
Due to the high number of residents in isolation, meal times have become quite challenging. If you are in a position to be able to come in to provide feeding assistance to your loved one this would be much appreciated.
Our meal times are 8:30, 12:30 and 5:30.
Please pray that the outbreak will be over quickly, and that the affected residents will recover well.
